Okay. I am not Nikoy De Guzman.
I was always paranoid of having Breast Cancer, I have a lump between my breasts. I kept convincing myself that I really am very young to have it. I even asked the doctor who examined me before I entered this certain University. She said it's nothing. So it's nothing. I trust her. But I still always look for information on how to avoid BC. I even decided to have this organization as my topic for my Informative and Persuasive speeches because I am not the only one who will benefit from these but also those who will listen to my speech. I want to make my speech really effective. Enough of that. Haha!
So I read this certain article about a breast cancer survivor named Nikoy De Guzman. This is also of course part of my speech. Well, as how I remember it, her mother and grandmother also had BC that's why she wasn't surprised when she knew she has BC. She had to live for her son. So she fought BC. She's very brave. I admire her. I admire her strength and courage. She had one of her breasts removed. She survived it, thank God. Right now she is living a normal and happy life. Her picture in the article really struck me. She showed her chest without her breast but she was still smiling. Her smile was sincere and pure. I can feel her happiness. She's not ashamed of it.
I hope anyone who has Breast Cancer will never lose hope. I hope her story will also serve as an inspiration for you. Breast Cancer can now be treated. Just have faith.
Kudos Nikoy De Guzman and Kudos to all those fighting Breast Cancer!
