Hi,

I've been on and off the pill for two years now, and recently switched brands. I've started to notice that when I go back on the pill after a break, my boobs get bigger, more sensitive, and now get lumps. They really creep me out. The lumps are quite big (and hard), and when I pole them they move around. I have one in my right breast, on the side, near my armpit; and one in the other breast that is below where my underwite sits on my bra.
The lumps seem to go away when I go off the pill, and they come back in different places when I go back on. This is because of the birth control pills right? Or could it be the big C?
thanx

There's a similar post here in the forum...maybe you two should connect? Anyway...if you've noticed, your breasts will change texture during different times of your menstrual cycle (without the influence of the pill), so it might be that the birth control pill might cause hormonal fluctuations that effect your breasts differently. It's like the website says, you should try to do you self-breast exam at the same time every month, that way you become familiar with how it feels and can pick up changes much easier.

Chemotherapy and radiation therapy can destroy constantly dividing breast cancer cells. There are many of other side effects Weight gain,Mouth soreness,Nausea and vomiting,Lowered resistance to infections.Side effects are very individual and may not be the same for two people with similar diagnoses that are receiving the same treatment.
