Hi, this is my first post here, I hope someone can help me out.

My boyfriend pointed out a "weird thing" he felt in my right breast, the same place where I've been having sharp pains a couple times a week. The pains don't last long, maybe 1 minute at the tops. At first I thought it was maybe my muscle, but now with the lump...I know that sometimes you can get lumps in your breasts from drinking too much caffeine, but rarely drink any soda, I don't drink coffee, and only have a few cups of tea a week . I was at my gyno about two months ago and she didn't say she felt anything weird. Should I get a second opinion? Is the pain and lump normal?

The pain and lump might just be a coincidence; I know from the past that it can also be a muscle that causes the pain. But if the pain has been going on for quite a while, I would have it checked out by a second doctor, and while your there you can also ask about the bump....

It is better if you go to a second opinion so that your doubt will be lessen and we all know prevention is better that cure..
