Author Messages Oldest First Newest First Amy80 Posts:3 08/28/2008 9:15 AM   Hi, I had a right mastectomy almost a year ago, and now I'm having some pain in my back, near my right shoulder blade. At first I thought it was because of the remaining breast (DD) and the fact that i'm fairly short (5"2). Has anyone else experienced this after their mastectomy? Thanks, Amy Starr Posts:6 05/14/2009 3:25 AM   I had a right mastectomy 5 months ago. My pain is between my shoulder blades. I have DDD and 5'6". I feel like it's my posture plus stress. I keep catching myself slouching. I thought waring my bra would help. "Hasn't helped!" I feel like my back needs to be adjusted, poped back into place. After surgery, I was hunching over giving into the surgery pain. Now I have no surgery pain. Like you, just between the shoulder blades (very painfull). I sometimes take pain medication to help me deal with it. Sincerely Starr
