PinkRibbon International's flagship pilot with Tata Medical Center, Kolkata — empowering communities to prevent cancer, detect disease early, and ensure timely referral and supportive care for the most underserved women in Bengal.
Women in rural and low-income communities across Bengal experience delayed cancer diagnosis due to lack of awareness, limited screening services, and insufficient healthcare infrastructure. Early diagnosis significantly improves survival rates — this initiative makes early detection possible.
Working with Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, we partner with women's groups and local NGOs to recruit and train community volunteers, deliver screening camps in community settings, and establish referral pathways to hospitals. Every six months we conduct learning reviews and publish findings internationally — building a model that can scale across India and beyond.
